Biography

Anne K. LaPorta is an Attorney at WBA.  Her practice focuses on representing metropolitan districts in Colorado in various areas.  Anne has five years prior experience representing special districts in all aspects of operations including formation, elections, bond issues, public infrastructure financing, intergovernmental agreements, and real property and water rights acquisitions, and six years representing water service districts in water rights acquisitions and litigation.  Additionally, she has over 14 years of experience with the federal government as a contracting officer responsible for procurement of complex design, construction, and service contracts for building and infrastructure projects for the Western Area Power Administration, the National Park Service, and the General Services Administration for projects throughout the West and along the East coast.

Activities

Outside of work, Anne looks forward to creative writing, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family.
