Overview
WBA is seeking an organized, service-minded HR & Operations Specialist to serve as the operational backbone of our growing Colorado-based firm. In this role, you will work closely with our Chief Operating Officer to own the day-to-day administration of our HR programs, office operations, IT support coordination, and vendor relationships.

You will touch nearly every part of our firm’s operations, from onboarding new team members and administering benefits, to coordinating with our IT vendor and keeping our office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration: Serve as the day-to-day administrator of our HR practices, including onboarding and offboarding, personnel recordkeeping, benefits administration, performance review coordination, employee handbook and policies, and routine leave and accommodation requests, and regulatory compliance. Assist the COO on HR projects, such as benefits renewals and culture initiatives.
- Recruiting Support: Assist with posting open roles, coordinating candidate scheduling, and preparing organized candidate summaries for hiring managers.
- IT Support Coordination: Serve as our team’s liaison to our managed IT service provider, triaging support tickets, coordinating equipment purchasing, and managing software access for all employees. Support the COO with larger scale IT implementations and projects.
- Vendor and Office Management: Oversee the daily functioning of our office, manage supplier and vendor relationships, and help plan firm events in coordination with our Social Committee.
Skills and Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR generalist, law firm administrator, or similar role in a professional services environment.
- Demonstrated experience with onboarding and offboarding, personnel recordkeeping, and benefits administration.
- A high degree of discretion and sound, independent judgment in a confidential environment with competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Preferred
- Experience implementing or administering employee handbooks or HR policy frameworks.
- Experience with the ADA interactive process and accommodation determinations.
- Experience coordinating with IT vendors or managed service providers.
- Experience with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, or legal practice management software.
- Law firm or other legal services environment experience.
Work Schedule & Location
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, standard business hours.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with regular in-office presence in Centennial, Colorado for onboarding, IT coordination, and facilities responsibilities.
- Office Location: 2154 E. Commons Ave., Suite 2000, Centennial, CO 80122.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 to $90,000, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
